Douglas co-founded Silverleaf Venture Partners to pursue special situations investing and Venture Capital starting in 2018. The partners have completed over 30 investments in noteworthy companies including Jane Technologies, Ebbu and many others. As a partner of the Silverleaf companies since 2005 Doug has over two decades of experience as a principal investor in private equity and real estate. Completing his first transaction at the age of 17, his career has allowed him to complete over 150 round-trip investment transactions. Douglas graduated from the University of South Florida with a BS in Finance, has been a licensed real estate broker for over 30 years and has managed outside capital for over a decade.

Douglas oversees deal origination, underwriting and capital markets. Doug is a frequent speaker at industry conferences and events and is currently an active board member for multiple Cannabis companies.
