Silverleaf Venture Partners is an investment manager. For over three decades its founding partners have invested in private equity, real estate and other entrepreneurial investments. Based on their diverse experiences, the managers have honed their styles, skills and structures to minimize downside risk while capturing upside potential.

Douglas J. Hannah
Partner
Douglas co-founded Silverleaf Venture Partners to pursue cannabis focused investing starting in 2018. The partners have completed over 30 investments in noteworthy companies including Jane Technologies, Ebbu and many others. As a partner of the Silverleaf companies since 2005 Doug has over two decades of experience as a principal investor in private equity and real estate. Completing his first transaction at the age of 17, his career has allowed him to complete over 150 round-trip investment transactions. Douglas graduated from the University of South Florida with a BS in Finance, has been a licensed real estate broker for over 30 years and has managed outside capital for over a decade. Douglas oversees deal origination, underwriting and capital markets. A consummate entrepreneur, originator & deal maker Doug has developed a network of industry executives and insiders which has led to multiple opportunities for the partnership and beneficial relationships for our portfolio companies.
Andre M. Haroche
Managing Director
Andre Haroche co-founded Silverleaf Venture Partners with Douglas Hannah to pursue Cannabis-focused venture capital, initially for their own accounts and now for outside investors as well. Andre has over 12 years of experience as principal investor in private equity and real estate for his family office. Prior to founding Silverleaf, Andre was an executive in his family company, Liberty Travel, for 12 years where he began as travel agent and eventually ran the firm’s 100-person technology division as Chief Information Officer. Prior to exiting, Liberty Travel had annual sales of $2bn and 288 wholesale and retail offices nationwide. Mr. Haroche received his B.S. & MBA from NYU Stern School of Business in ’93 & 2000 with a concentration in Finance, Valuation and Operations Management (Cum Laude). He served on Stern/NYU’s Board of Overseers until 2018. Andre is oversees partnership operations, investment due diligence and valuation. His previous corporate / business operations experience coupled with his investment background provides perspective that benefits both portfolio company CEOs as well as Silverleaf Venture Partners.
Carolyn Conte
Operations Manager
Carolyn is an experienced operations and project manager with demonstrated executive office support for private equity clients in the real estate, tech and hospitality industries as well as treasury and human resources for non-profits. She began her career at Lehman Brothers as a project manager overseeing the development and design of IT supporting the fixed income products within the Treasury Operations division. Carolyn received her MS Counseling/Human Resources from Bridgeport University and her BS in Finance from Rutgers University.
Douglas Bosswick
Investment Lead
Douglas Bosswick joined Silverleaf Venture Partners in 2020, bringing with him over a decade’s worth of experience in the regulated cannabis sector. Doug has worked with some of the largest cannabis companies in the United States to analysis market opportunities, create expansion strategies, and increase profit margins by improving operational efficiencies. Prior to cannabis, Doug was an associate at the wealth management firm Blackridge Capital, where he delivered investment advisory, tax and estate planning services to high-net-worth families. Doug started his professional career in New York City at the accounting firm Berdon LLP. Mr. Bosswick received his B.S. from the University of Colorado Boulder in Economics and Communication. Doug works closely with the Managing Directors to analyze and evaluate new investment opportunities, execute investments, and assist with monitoring Silverleaf Ventures Partners portfolio companies.
